EXPAND THE MONITOR ST WITH REFERENCE GRADE D/A CONVERSION 

The Dangerous DAC-ST provides accurate and pristine D/A conversion to the MONITOR ST. Utilizing the same MONITOR remote, instantly switch between 4 different sources. Only instantaneous switching through the same D/A can provide truly accurate comparisons. For example, when comparing a mix against a commercial CD, are the mixes or the converters being A/B’d?

All four rear panel digital inputs accept AES or SPDIF formats and have active Thru outputs to route these inputs to other devices. The front panel hosts a SPDIF input for quick connection of portable players, beat boxes or keyboards endowed with a SPDIF output. Avoid crawling behind your rack with a flashlight between your teeth.

• Mastering Grade Reference D/A Conversion

The measure of a successful mix is consistency: it must translate across multiple mediums like the radio, an iPod, home hi-fi, a car stereo… Therefore, the D/A converter must be transparent and musical to deliver. The DAC-ST guarantees coherent, uncolored transmission.
